CTD couatl64
« on: August 29, 2022, 09:16:48 pm »
Hello,

I had a CTD after a 3hours flight. The Analysis shows that the file couatl64 is the failure.

No, the event viewer shows only that it crashed, not that it *CAUSED* a CTD. In fact, it was the opposite: MSFS crashed because of the very well known CTDs everybody is experiencing right now, which has confirmed multiple times are not caused by ANY addon, see here:

Of course, if the sim crashes hard, it's *very* likely every program connected to it will crash as well, leaving an error in the Event, that doesn't mean it's the cause. I'd say it's the *victim* of the CTD.

Try the solution posted by Microsoft to run a Windows update and Restart the PC even if there weren't any updates available, it seem to have fixed the CTDs for many users.
