Hello,

For some reason, I can no longer use the customize vehicle location function in GSX 2. When I press the Customize vehicle locations button, nothing happens. I don't get the editor to display within P3D. It worked a couple of weeks ago, now it no longer works.
Also, after I try to do an edit (unsuccessfully) I need to restart the PC, otherwise GSX won't be in P3D. It seems GSX crashes and the only way to get it to work again is to restart the PC, which is very time consuming. How is that?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

This actually seems to happen in one particular addon AFCAD file for YSSY as I managed to use the editor at 2 other airports. Really Strange!
Any idea why this would be the case?

Check in the GSX parking editor if the AFCAD used by GSX is the one that is supplied with the scenery.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.... I think it is the right one, I am getting the following file
[general]
afcad_path = D:\Addon scenery p3d\Sydney YSSY\scenery\YSSY_P3Dv4_RWC.bgl

[gate a 45]
nopassengerstairs = 1
nopassengerbus = 0
ignoreicaoprefixes = 0
ignorepreferredexit = 1
snapleftpushbackpos = 1
snaprightpushbackpos = 1
undergroundrefueling = 1
dontcreatejetways = 0
parkingsystem = 1
hasjetway = 1
pushback = 3
pushbackaddpos = []
pushbacklabels = Nose Right/Tail Left (LEFT)|Nose Left/Tail Right (RIGHT)
maxwingspan = 6.0
radiusleft = 31.0
radiusright = 24.8
loadertype = 3 3 2
airlinecodes = VAU,VOZ
type = 10
handlingtexture =
cateringtexture =
jetway_pos = -33.9370411634445 151.179223358631 188.997802734375
usercustomized = 1

Also, here is what I get in the couatl log:

traceback (most recent call last):
  File ".\GSX\parkingDialog.py", line 3137, in onCustomizePositions
  File "wx\_windows.py", line 809, in EndModal
wx._core.PyAssertionError: C++ assertion "IsRunning()" failed at ..\..\src\common\evtloopcmn.cpp(83) in wxEventLoopBase::Exit(): Use ScheduleExit() on not running loop
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File ".\GSX\parkingDialog.py", line 3134, in onCustomizePositions
KeyError: 'pop from an empty set'
Connection with Prepar3D v4 lost (has it crashed?)

If I try to close P3D and re open it, when I reopen it, GSX/Couatl is no longer available in the P3D menu, so it looks like GSX totally crashes.... The only way to get it back is to restart the PC.

Any chance of an explanation of why GSX crashes in this instance? Thank you.

From the error log, it seems some kind of fault in the AFCAD, like missing parking, orphaned parking, overlapped nodes, something like that.

Do you have ADE installed ? You might try running ADE Fault's finder tool, and see what it reports.

Thank you for your reply!

I ran ADE and the Fault Finder comes back with no faults... GSX seems to crash when using the "Customize vehicle locations" functions with a few sceneries (apart from the one mentioned).
All I can do is to do the basic edit.

Thank you.
