I have been having this issue on the last three flights attempts on P3D V5 when trying to call the GSX menu to request the pushback. The initial call is ok, and the gsx services arrive at my aircraft, the issue is happening after pressing ctr+shft+F12 the second time.
I have run the fsdt live updater to VC redist updated but I am still having this issue.

Edit: The issue has been fixed after complete reinstall of GSX2.

Out of curiosity, have you had this particular crash since reinstalling GSX? Trying to resolve this myself. I'm reinstalling GSX now to see if that does it.

Welp, reinstalling GSX didn't fix the crash for me. CTD'd in the FSL 320 when the GSX window was opened to start deboarding.

The three error events:

Same here.   2 flights.   I had just installed GSX2 two days ago.    Updated and running on P3D v5 HF2.   SODE 1.71 Ran GSX2 on Saturday, no issues.      However, what led to the reinstall was the complete disappearance of GSX from the sim.  No GSX, no Coutal, nothing.   I tried an update, restart, nothing worked.   So I reinstalled.

But here's some additional information.    Mine have both taken place after the passengers have boarded and I'm getting ready for pushback.

Except, nothing happens.    The sim runs and there is no issue but it's like the Groundhandling people are stuck, (possibly stoned).   The voice communication from ground preparing me for pushback and release of parking break never occurs.

When I bring up the GSX menu, everything appears in order.    In an attempt to engage pushback, I re-select the option for pushback and there is an immediate CTD.   No pause, no freeze, just instant CTD.

Bringing up the problem reports shows the VCRUNTIME140.dll, exact same version, and time stamp as the original poster.   But......I have no Couatl application fault, just VCRUNTIME140.dll

Man, P3Dv5 is a barrel of monkeys ain't it?   Hope this helps.

One thing about my last two crashes is that they were both at FlyTampa airports that used Cartanya's .ini files that I had been using with V4. I've turned those off and gone back to the default SODE gates for those sceneries and reset the .ini files to see if that fixes it.

This problem doesn't have anything to do with GSX, it's a known issue with P3D V5 that has been discussed on the LM forum:

https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=138349

And affects EVERY program that uses the standard Simconnect menu, but also the default ATC window, and has been confirmed by multiple users it can happen even with NO GSX installed:

Even with a fresh clean & installation of P3D V5 HF2, I experience CTD when opening the ATC window after a time in the sim. I have tested with and without GSX (and Addon Manager)

I'm almost 100% sure this is a bug in Prepar3D V5. I have done a lot of testing with HF1 & HF2 and cannot find the cause of CTD via the ATC window. This problem did not exist in V4.

We reported to LM, which is investigating it.
