The only thing I noticed was that FSX asked if I wanted to run both the Addon Manager and the Addon Manager 32-bit. I don't know whether that's normal but thought it was worth mentioning.
No, of course is not normal.
It seems you installed an OLD version of the Addon Manager, or an old version of a product that comes with the Addon Manager *AFTER* you ran the FSDT Live Update, so now you have two copies of it, which shouldn't happen normally, since the CURRENT version of any product that comes with the Addon Manager will remove every old copy installed by the old installers, but if you reinstall an old version after the new one, you'll end with two copies, since the old installer cannot possibly know a future version would install in a different location.
If you do the correct procedure, and NEVER install an OLD version of a product that came with the Addon Manager *after* you have installed a later version, the message will surely won't appear and you won't see two version of the Addon Manager loaded.
Just to be sure you clean up everything:
- Uninstall each and every product that comes with the Addon Manager. Reply "YES" to the question "Do you want to remove the Addon Manager ?" which is made at the end.
- Reinstall ONLY using the LATEST version of the installers.
- DO NOT install anything older after you installed something that use the new Addon Manager with the new Live Update.
