unrecoverable error at every airport
« on: July 02, 2019, 08:23:16 am »
I just updated gsx to the new version (after updating p3d v4) and now every time I move near a gate position and try to use gsx, an unrecoverable error happens. occurs at every airport and position ive tried so far. messages all look like this

couatl v3.2 (build 4231)
panic log started on Tue Jul  2 02:22:13 2019

problem raised by engine or unspecified addon
{'Airport': 'KMSY', 'Requested assistance services at': 'Gate G 5', 'User Pos': (29.987287868060264, -90.25507321387292, 3.68402 m, 2.46502 m, 303.16922086486136)}

after looking around for solutions I found in addon manager it says gsx is activated but not installed. when I tried installing gsx, the option to select the simulator was entirely greyed out even though I just finished installing v4. but allowed me to continue installing anyway. im guessing that is where the problem is. regedit shows the correct path though.

tried doing a logged install and it DOES find p3dv4 but does not unlock the option to install to it

2019-07-02 04:02:16.083   Registry key HKCU\Software\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 points to D:\Prepar3D v4
2019-07-02 04:02:16.083   Prepar3d.EXE has been found in D:\Prepar3D v4
2019-07-02 04:02:16.083   Removing the Prepar3d.EXE Compatibility flag

Are you trying to install the FSX version in P3D4 ?
