MegaAirportFrankfurt with GSX

I installed a program called MegaAirportFrankfurt from Aerosoft.
 I notice that GSX does not work for this airport.
Does anybody know that program and how to make it work ?

What do you mean GSX doesn't work ?

GSX will surely work with every 3rd party scenery that has a standard AFCAD. Is the correct AFCAD being used by GSX ? This if the issue is the whole GSX not working.

If, instead, you mean you don't see passengers in the scenery jetways, that's normal, since no 3rd party scenery will show passenger, unless it already comes with SODE jetways. If a scenery doesn't come with SODE jetways, you must replace them with GSX, as explained on the manual, and on the sticky tutorial posted in this forum.

Again I would like to solve the issue.I agree GSX works with every airport except for Frankfort Mega Airport.
Specific question: how do I see if there is a correct AFCAD ?

What is strange when Frankfort Mega airport is installed and I run it ( not using GSX ) I get the following error
message.


I then did what was suggested by the error message but no success.

The error indicates you are using a customization file for that airport made by some user that made his own custom livery ( FRA ), which doesn't normally exists in GSX ( it would be FRAPORT ) so, you should either remove it, or asking the custom livery to who made that file.

Page 35 of the GSX manual:

Airport customization files are saved in the following folder: %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX

Each file will be named as its ICAO code, with an .INI extension

I still have the problem with FSX not loading when FranfurtMegaPort is installed.

I studied page 35 of the manual but frankly it is complicated and I have no idea what to do.

Therefore I would appreciate if you can provide some more hints.

I already quoted the only information you needed to know in my previous reply, saying where the file you need to remove is located, and how it's named.

Herbert, Mega Airport Frankfurt does not come with a GSX config file on its own. So either you installed it on your own or you use GSX Level 2 and somehow a config file for EDDF ended up in your setup. If it helps, you can write in German here and I will translate for Umberto. It seems that due to the language barrier, the information you give here is not complete or somehow misleading to solve the issue...

Das Problem ist, dass ich FSX nicht benutzen kann wenn FranfurtMegaAirport installiert ist () Windows 10 und GSX Level2 )

Wenn ich MegaPort emtferne klappt das FSX problemlos.


Mir wuerde gesagt, dass ich gewisse files entfernen sollte,weiss aber nicht welche und vor allem wo sie sind.

Hallo Herbert, also: Du hast Mega Airport Frankfurt von Aerosoft und GSX Level 2. Weisst Du denn, wie Du dieses GSX Level 2 richtig bedienst und einstellst? Wie gesagt, der Flughafen Frankfurt von Aerosoft hat nicht automatisch ein Konfigurationsfile, wie ist das überhaupt auf Deinen Rechner gekommen?

Anyway: Du musst folgenden Ordner finden

%APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX

Dazu musst Du so vorgehen:

1. Den Explorer öffnen und C: öffnen, danach "Benutzer". Im Ordner Benutzer solltest Du einen Ordner mit Deinem Benutzernamen haben.

2. Deinen Benutzerordner öffnen. Jetzt auf "Ansicht" gehen und in den Ordneroptionen unter dem Reiter Ansicht die Einstellung "Ausgeblendete Dateien, Ordner und Laufwerke anzeigen" auswählen/aktivieren.

3. In Deinem Benutzerordner werden nun alle versteckten Ordner und Dateien angezeigt. Jetzt öffnest Du den Ordner "AppData" und darin den Ordner "Roaming".

4. Im Ordner "Roaming" suchst Du den Ordner "Virtuali", den öffnest Du, danach den Ordner "GSX". In diesem GSX-Ordner müsste nun eine .ini Datei mit EDDF im Namen sein. Diese Datei löscht Du nun.

Jetzt sollte das Problem behoben sein. Ansonsten hier rückfragen, ev. musst Du auch noch die Exclude-Dateien entfernen.
