Strange problem with embedded stairs

Hello,

I am experiencing a strange problem with a passenger door with embedded stairs: Persons trying to enter the plane walk up the stairs in a position much lower than the stairs; then, at the end of the stairs, they suddenly have a position that is still bad, but much more suitable for the stair height, turn around and walk down the stairs, then up again before they really enter the plane.


Is this caused by bad door and/or stair positions?

It's likely caused by a too short distance between the actual door position and the embedded stair upper position. Try to space them as much as possible.
