Have you copied the activation key from the web site, and pasted there ?

The web activation is quite self-explanatory but, you must not confused the activation key, which is provided by the *WEB* site, starting from the Install ID (usually auto-filled), with you SERIAL NUMBER, which is what you must type in the Addon Manager *before* the whole Web-based activation works.

Have you posted the same comment on Flightbeam forum, on FS Labs forums, and on FSDG forums ? They are affected exactly the same.

And no, it doesn't mean you cannot activate or the activation "doesn't work", what is not working is only the default activation, but there's also the alternate web-based activation and that one has never stopped to work.

You are not "messing" anything.

Using the Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or the Google (8.8.8. DNS will surely result in a better internet connection, since those DNS are surely faster than your ISPs, are better for privacy, are updated more quickly, and usually result in less censored sites.
