I cannot replicate the problem. Try to run the Updater as Adminstrator (it should do it automatically, though).

Try running the Couatl_updater2 as admin.

Same problem here.  Unfortunately, running the Couatl_Updater2 as admin did not fix this.

As I've said, I cannot replicate this problem. Try again after a Windows restart.

If that doesn't fix it, try to lower the UAC settings (I have them all default, but you never know).

i have exactly the same problem. i had to reinstall today the GSX that it dissapeared from my p3d menu, and it was impossible to get it back up again, uninstalled using your uninstall, installed, run both updates (everything Admin),...
and notging... by the way, te error says that it can not replace a file in windows fonts, that does not exist. maybe the installer does not install it to begin with. i will try to run gsx with this error that i "ignore" in the option... fingers crossed.
I have restarted my pc bet uninstall, install and update... nothing.

Running Updater2 made no difference.
My UAC settings have always been in the lowest.

I will try updating again in a few days.
If it doesn't help, I may try to do a full reinstall, like the colleague above did, during the weekend.

EDIT:

The FSDT_LCD Regular font was not visible in Windows\Fonts.
I restarted Windows and then the font became visible in the Font folder.
I removed it and then I was able to perform the update successfully using Couatl_Updater.

So, this is a way round to get it working.
I had never experienced it before, so I wonder what has changed recently.
We'll see how it goes with the next update.

Hi.. I solved it by resetting security permissions for my documents folder and on down.... all went well then.

We added that font with the current update, because it was needed for the battery charger display on the jetway. It's installed in the most standard way, using the normal font install command in Inno Setup, which I guess if used by thousands of installers out there.

There's not much else we can control over the process, Fonts must go in the Windows\Fonts directory so, we just let the installer doing its job. Perhaps some kind of security software wasn't happy with somebody installing something in C:\Windows but, there's no other place Fonts can go.
