New Sode 1.6

Hi! I'm trying to uninstal Sode 1.5.3 from my pc. I've got this message: There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Is anyone can help me with this issue?? (SOLVED)

I think the issue is having removed SODE manually at some stage. Do you still have the 1.5.3 installer ? It likely came with an addon scenery. If you have it, you might be able to fix it this way:

- Install SODE 1.5.3

- Uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel

- Reinstall the latest SODE 1.6.3 (it's included with GSX, so you can also reinstall GSX).

Unfortunately I don't have the installer anymore....I posted a question on Sode Forum...we'll see!

I understand that issue came because I uninstalled manually sode 1.5.3. Now, because Sode forum is not answering my request what else could I do?
Could I get an old GSX version installed than removed to see if it will solve the problem? any other help will be strongly appreciated....

don´t know if this could help you, but I found on the SODE own website a link for the old SODE full installers ( also version 1.5.3 ), If you download the V 1.5.3 may be you can try to REINSTALL it and THEN uninstall ......

Thank you so much! It works! Re-installing 1.5.3 than uninstall it did the job!  I successfully downloaded the 1.6.3. If this could help other fellow do it! Now, I can work on forcoming issues.. héhé
