Marshal? Marshall? Marshaller?
« on: January 19, 2018, 07:57:01 am »
Hello,

I'm also no native speaker, but isn't there a typo at the marshallers west?

Shouldn't it be "Marshall"? (Two "L")

And most real world pictures show the word "Marshaller", not only "Marshall".

But certainly no showstopper  :D ;D
thanks

Marshal has only one "L". Marshall with 2 Ls is a person's name. Marshaller does indeed have two Ls because of pronunciation. Also: marshalling.

I knew a fellow named Marshal. He's dead now.
