Saying to GSX a parking has a gate/jetway, doesn't make the jetway move, if the original scenery developer hasn't made it animated in the first place.
As explained in the manual, and as discussed so many times on the forum, GSX won't magically animate a scenery made with static jetways, the ONLY reason you have to go there, and flag a parking to have a jetway, is to prevent GSX from showing stairs and the Passenger Bus on a scenery that have a jetways that "looks" like a jetway, but it's not really a real jetway, it's just a piece of the building, so GSX cannot automatically detect it unless you do so.
If the original scenery developer *made* the jetway animated, there wouldn't be any need to manually flag it, because it would have been automatically recognized by GSX, so it would be already enabled, and you would operate it as usual, with CTRL+J.
