Ground crew moving with feet together!
« on: February 06, 2015, 07:02:45 pm »
Just noticed on a flight today that the push back crew man and on arrival the marshaller moved with their feet together, not walking, and looked as though they were floating ???
I thought they used to walk normally but am I mistaken? If not what could be the problem?

Hi Stuart, No that is not normal. Have you made sure "Animations" are ticked on in the FSX settings?

Sorry, but what setting do you mean by 'annimations'. I wasn't aware of any such setting. Do you mean the Special Effects setting in FSX?

The "Advanced Animations" flag in the FSX graphic settings should be checked. The GSX installer obviously checks for it and enables it automatically, but if you uncheck it manually afterwards or you reset the FSX.CFG to default, it will default to disabled.

If this is not the case, be sure you don't try to use a too wide zoom settings and/or a too far away view position, because after a certain distance and zoom setting, FSX automatically disable all animations.

Thanks, I forgot about that check box. I'll check and see.
