KJFK terminal 8 gate 6 passenger boarding bridge
« on: February 13, 2016, 10:40:56 am »
Hi all,

It appears that the passenger boarding bridge at gate number 6 terminal 8 cannot extend fully without leaving 'gaps', check the image attached for details. Is someone able to reproduce this? I'm Running KJFK v2.1 / P3D 3.1.

The scenery uses the default jetway animation system, just with a custom 3d model. The default jetway animation system in P3D hasn't been improved compared to FSX, so it has the same old bugs, like sinking wheels with some airplanes (even default), or exploding jetways.

Nothing we can do about it. That's why several scenery developers are moving away from the default jetway animation system, and are supporting SODE, which fixes most of the problems of the default jetways animation system.

We'll support SODE in the next GSX version, and we'll start using it with KMEM. Hopefully, we'll revisit our existing sceneries to add SODE support to them too.

Cool, thanks for getting back on this issue.
