Couatl Scripting Engine ***FIXED***
« on: May 24, 2014, 06:14:38 pm »
After installing the KDEN 1.1 and latest Couatl updates, I keep getting the following errors:

"Couatl Scripting Engine has encountered an unrecoverable error and will be restarted."

Sometimes I'll get:

"The addon '1' is out-dated"

After going through this forum, I've made all the exceptions in firewall and anti-virus.

Still getting the errors and now I can't fly anywhere without these errors popping up every minute.

Disregard on the issue.

After carefully reviewing all of my Processes on Windows Task Manager, I've found that there is an issue with Couatl and my newly installed headset software running in the background.

For those of you with the Razer Kraken 7.1, go into Windows Task Manager and end "KrakenSysAudioLauncher.exe *32".  Then go into MSCONFIG and uncheck "Kraken 7.1" from the Startup tab.

Although I knew the only change I made to my PC was my headset, I didn't know it added any software in the background since it was just plug and play.  I guess my Razer Synapse 2.0 must have done that.

Anyway, FSX is working and headset is working so I'm happy!
