The server itself is running fine, but it's possible our host is having bandwidth problems, I know they are planning to move to a new location, they announced this quite a while ago, but haven't done it yet, perhaps they are in the act of moving, and this have an impact on available bandwidth too.
However, not that this will affect mainly the forum, main installer downloads are entirely unaffected, because they are hosted elsewhere (Mediafire + Dropbox) and Live Updates have a 50% chance to be downloaded from the mirror site so, if you have a slow Live Update download, just launch its installer again, until you get to the fastest server.
