GSX Takes Away Safedock?
« on: February 02, 2012, 10:03:15 pm »
I want to start off by saying that I love GSX and that it already changes the airport life in FSX. Anyway, I was at JFK and I was assigned to park at T5 and when I activated the gate, I realized that it said that a Marshaller had been assigned to a gate. Are all Safegate/Safedock (whatever the proper name is) removed, even though they are present at the real airport?

Thank you,

Best regards and looking forward to more updates for a seriously great product.

All docks are still there at JFK, just like as they were before in ParkMe.

However, they are now handled by GSX airport customization, which relies on the AFCAD. If you changed/removed the AFCAD supplied with JFK, or renamed it, GSX will still work, but you'll lose the customization, so it will behave like a default airport.

It's really suggested you use GSX at our airports with the AFCAD supplied with it, because we made the customization based on them, if you want to change something, start with the GSX-supplied AFCADs.

Ok I will try renaming my AFCAD back its original name because I did switch around a couple of things on the AFCAD (before GSX was released) and named it something different. I will report back on what happens.

Thank you.
