missing terminals
« on: August 16, 2010, 05:02:20 pm »
Hi folks,

I've a problem with all FSDT Sceneries in FSX:

When I load an airport, not all buildungs will be shown. I've no problems during install, AntiVir was off during installation, Couatl and the Addon Manager are shown normally in the FSX. When I come closer to the, for example a terminal, then it suddenly pops up. So, the buildings are there, they're only not shown when I'm not close enough.

Here I've an example for what I mean:

You can see the missing terminal in the back. The cars parked in the air and missing things around the tower.

Do you have any idea what my problem is?

Thanks 4 ya help and sorry 4 my bad english.

Have you set FSX to run in "XP Compatibility mode" ? If yes, turn it off, which is how FSX is installed by default. That option only cause problems.

To set it correctly, select the FSX.EXE in its folder, right-click on it, select "Properties", select the "Compatibility" tab, then be sure that nothing is checked in that page.

Thank you very much, you fixed my problem.

The "Vista SP2" Compatibility" was switched on. I unchecked it and all buildings and terminals was where they should be. :)

Thanks very much for your quick help.

kind regards
