GSX PRO will not work after initial start of MSFS

I cannot get GSX to work after the first use in the simulator. I will start GSX from the menu bar and it will work, but after that, it will not work. I even tried using the key combo Ctrl+Shift+F12 and noting happens? Any advice?

First, the hotkey won't work if you close the menu from the Toolbar, as explained in the manual, where the correct usage of the menu is discussed:

This is now your normal workflow should be:

• Open the GSX menu from the Toolbar icon when first starting Ground services.

• Don’t close it from the Toolbar while Ground services are performed, always use the Hot-key or the X icon to close the menu.

• Close the menu using the Toolbar icon when you are done with Ground services, usually before take-off.

If you don't follow this, the Hotkey won't work, since the toolbar code which check the hotkey will be automatically disabled by MSFS when the toolbar item is closed from the menu.
