Cannot get GSX Pro to work with MSFS

Hi there,

Bought GSX a week or two ago and still cannot get it to work w/ MSFS.

Have followed all the threads including:

- Initial install process
- Offline Installer
- No firewalls/ anti virus etc.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.

The spot I'm at now is GSX Pro shows up in MSFS, however the menu loads and does not actually lead to anything. This has happened again desppite reinstalling.

Any advice would be appreciated.

- Turn off the firewall

- Configure the antivirus to add the whole Add-on Manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions list.

- Run the FSDT Live Update again.

If that still doesn't work, you should post your log, as explained in the Sticky thread here named "How to report a problem":

As I already said above; I had completed those steps.

I've now uninstalled everything and tried reinstalling.

Following your instructions, the regular installation just remains stuck on 'downloading file' for hours.

If I follow the intructions and download the offline installer, the installer completes but nothnig happens post this.

Getting very frustrated with this poor user experience I'm about ready to just charge this back through the credit card company.

I feel you I bought this over a month ago and have yet to use it. I’ve tried all the recommendations,etc I did a log just waiting to hear back. But mines stays stuck in the loading please wait screen.

Let me know if you get any help! I 'was' stuck on the loading screen...so uninstalled and now I'm unable to install the whole thing full stop ha ha...

What "program" no longer installs ? The FSDT Installer itself, or GSX ? And what happens in either case, like error messages or so ?

The FSDT Installer. It gets stuck on downloading the files. There is no error message. Have left it running for over 24 hours and it doesn't  proceed.

And yes, I've disabled firewall, antivirus etc.

Just a shot in the dark, try running the FSDT Installer as administrator.
