GPU Cable Won't Disengage From Aircraft When GPU is Dismissed
« on: February 14, 2023, 03:03:12 am »
Hello FSDT Team,

I have an unusual problem - the GPU cable, when requesting to "dismiss" the GPU from the aircraft (B748 in this case) won't disengage. The cable remains attached to the aircraft and when taxiing, rotates around the nose wheel.

It's actually pretty funny to see, but still an issue that I have not seen reported elsewhere.

For now, I use the APU to supply ground power. Is this a concern to note for future updates?

Sincerely,

Mark

We'll check this but not, the cable is not coming from GSX, it's part of the airplane.

Umberto,

I was not aware that the GPU cable was part of the MS/ Asobo software.

I found a workaround whereby after the GSX Pro GPU cart is towed away, I click the EXT PWR buttons ON and OFF a second time in the cockpit and the cable disappears.

No more cable rotating around the nose wheel!  :)

Thank you,

Mark
