Wrong ground services at Tampa International Terminal E Gates 62-70

Hello FSDT Support team. When I setup ground services such as catering, ramp and pushback at Tampa International Airport. That's my home airport plus I work for Delta. Delta Airlines occupies gates 62-73. Between Gates 71-75 Delta Airlines share those gates with Frontier Airlines. The only airline option for ground service is American Airlines. American Airlines terminal is "F" at TPA. Also for catering. There's no option Gate Gourmet and LSG Sky Chefs. Gate Gourmet and LSG Sky Chefs supply Delta Airlines with with catering depending on their schdule. The only option . I have read from other forums that Im not the only person going through this problem. I see there's a fix but Im not getting all the setups in order how to correct ground service at the TPA gates. Including other airports if I need to fix ground servies at the gates. If possible. Can I get step by step guide on how to fix ground services to match with airline plane. Below is the software information. Also I have attached screenshots. Hope to hear from someone.

What makes you think this is a problem to begin with ? Have you read the manual which explains how GSX scoring system works ? GSX has its own set of rules and, according to them, the operators at KTPA are United and American airline, at all gates. If some gates have airline codes of one but not the other, the one with codes will get priority, that's how GSX always worked and is supposed to work.

With Catering, since there's no such thing as "catering codes" in the parking definition, the operators will be chosen for all airport according to the catering scoring system.

Of course, with the airport customization page, you can both override the airline codes ( which will affect scoring ) or simply specify an operator for Handling and Catering explicitly for each gate, which will take precedence over the normal scoring system.

I figured there's nothing wrong with asking for info on how to do it. At least I was being cool in my forum. I haven't found the manual unless you can provide me with one. Also. How did software developers come up with "the operators at KTPA are United and American airline, at all gates". Thats nuts. TPA has Southwest, Frontier, Delta, Spirit, Breeze, Alaska, United, American, Silver, and other including international. There is a problem. No software is perfect by any means. I wanted to see if I can make some changes to make it better. Also. Since the company I work has its own social media page. I wanted to stream a video to show potential of in home flight sim software. I don't want someone asking me. Why I am using American Airlines for ground service. Ive been using your products for a while. But. Since your right and I am wrong for this post. I'm not going to worry about it.

So, how else should I say it's NOT a "problem" ?

Of course we provided you with one. When you install GSX, there are several ways to find its manual:

- Clicking the "FSDT GSX Manual" Icon the GSX installer has placed on the Desktop

- Clicking the "Windows" button, in the "Fsdreamteam" group there's an icon called "Fsdreamteam GSX Documentation"

- Inside the sim, the Addon Manager menu has an "Open Manual" button.

I don't know what you are trying to say with "this is nuts". GSX has some default operator assignment rules, those are NOT by any means guaranteed to be 100% accurate or matching the even changing real world of changing airports, companies, agreements, etc.  So, when I say the operators at KTPA are United and American airline, at all gates, I mean according to GSX default internal rules.

Sure you can, that's why GSX allows for full customization of the operator, for each airport and even gate by gate.

But. Since your right and I am wrong for this post. I'm not going to worry about it.

You are only wrong about not reading the manual, which wasn't hard to find or intentionally hidden, as you tried to suggest.

If you read the latest release notes, they indicates which updates applies to GSX Pro only, which ones apply to GSX for FSX/P3D and which ones apply to all versions. There have been several covering the last two cases.
