Too many GSX cones
« on: May 11, 2022, 04:41:01 pm »
Hello and Good evening,

How do I remove/reduce those cones? They seem to appear when i summon any ground service.
Also with this particular plane, there is an option to extend Airstairs. However, every time I request boarding, a GSX stair spawns at the front and collides with the one from the plane. Is there a way to have only 1 stair at the back? Will the passengers use the extended one?

You really need to try reading the manual, because both answers are there.

- If the airplane has its own traffic cones, you can disable the GSX ones in the airplane configuration menu, so they won't conflict with the ones that comes with the airplane.

- If the airplane has embedded staircase, the GSX airplane configuration menu has an option to tell GSX about it, allowing to define its starts/end points, so GSX passengers can still use it, and GSX won't create its own stair at that door.

If the airplane can use both its own internal stairs OR the embedded stairs, GSX SUPPORTS that as well, with the "conditional embedded stair" option, that requires to find an L: variable that controls the internal stairs for that particular plane, and use it in an XML control expression, so GSX will dynamically use the plane own stairs, but only if they are extended, otherwise it will create the GSX stairs.

The embedded staircase is explained at Page 54 of the GSX manual.
