Couatl crashing on requesting services
« on: January 09, 2022, 08:30:22 pm »
Hi -

Whenever I request services, I seem to be getting a crash with a CREATE_OBJECT_FAILED. I'm fully updated on the latest version of P3D v5.3, and have uninstalled and reinstalled several times + deleted the P3D cfg.

Requested assistance services at Gate 515
Error: exception CREATE_OBJECT_FAILED in call AICreateSimulatedObject param #1 'FSDT_Staircase_TLD_ABS-580_BA'
{'Airport': 'EGLL', 'Requested assistance services at': 'Gate 515', 'User Pos': (51.47087181497522, -0.4858382862851842, 29.7547 m, 4.45472 m, 269.3091365316505, 0.004511456936597824, -0.0, 0.00017770668239040167, 4.572, 1.0)}

Is there any potential solution? :)

Your error indicates something that cannot possibly happening on a normal installation, since the object named FSDT_Staircase_TLD_ABS-580_BA is surely installed with P3D V5, since it's part of the new P3DV5-specific multi-livery objects, which are supposed to be in the Addon Manager\Simobjects\PBR_P3D5 folder.

Do you have that folder ?

If yes, check your Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\FsDreamTeam Addon Manager\add-on.xml file and see if it contains the lines with a path referencing to the V5 objects, because the FSDT Live Update WILL surely add it.

If the lines are not there, do you use a 3rd party utility to manage various add-on.xml files ? If you are using such utility to selectively enable add-ons, if it use a backup/restore of the add-on.xml, be sure it's not restoring from an old backup made *before* the P3DV5 update.
