Importing MFSX aircraft.

Would it be possible to import aircraft from MSFX into MSFS.
I was able to import default aircraft from previous MFS into MSFX without any problem and can it be done with default aircraft in MSFX into MSFS, for example Learjet 45.

Really depends on the aircraft. With some of the complex add-ons, most likely no. In any event, not really too sure why this question is being asked here since FSDreamteam doesn't develop aircraft.

I'm hoping that someone that knows more about Microsoft Simulators than I do, can advise me about this. Importing default aircraft between earlier versions of MFS was not complicated at all.
The big question is, is MSFS built on a totally different platform than earlier versions of MFS and that will not allow importing default aircraft from earlier versions of MFS.
I have a few favorite aircraft in my FSX that are not used in MSFS. So, if I bought the new MSFS package could I import those same default aircraft into MSFS.

One thing to keep in mind is FSX is a 32-bit program. The newer simulators like P3D V4, V5, and Microsoft Flight Simulator are all 64-bit programs.

Thanks for the answer, I think that difference would be a problem..
So, my best hope is to wait until MSFS adds more aircraft that I like.

Probably a better choice. One thing to keep in mind is MSFS has capabilities that FSX doesn't, so even if you were able to get FSX planes to work, you wouldn't have effects like PBR.

I agree with you, why go to all that trouble knowing it isn't going to work properly anyway. I don't need to bang my thumb nail with a hammer to find out if it hurts.
There are probably some third party aircraft designers that have compatible aircraft for MSFS that I'm looking for.
