They surely can, and are labeled as "Cargo xx" in the GSX menu.
What you see in the GSX menu is not necessarily the same as in the AFCAD. By default it is, but we can choose to present them with different names in our sceneries that comes with a special GSX configuration, which is only relevant in GSX, and won't affect the operation of the parking in the rest of the sim ( AI, for example )
