couatl crashing before sim loads

Getting this error loading into the sim, causing couatl to crash.

Run the Live Update again, something (antivirus, most likely) must have interrupted it. Be sure you configure the antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager folder.

I don't have it enabled.

Then the only thing left to do, is running the Live Update again, to let it complete where it was interrupted before, for some other reason I cannot possibly know, assuming it's really not the antivirus.

Solved that one. New problem though I'm afraid. Attached the detailed log.

This problem is entirely different, and shouldn't simply happen, because it's looks like as if you never installed GSX, or the add-on.xml file hasn't been updated to add the new PBR objects, which is of course not normal, since the Live Update will surely update it.

Check your add-on.xml  under Documents\Prepard3d v4 Addons\fsdreamteam Addon Manager\add-on.xml

ZIP it and attach it to a post.

As I expected, your add-on.xml file hasn't been updated by the Updater, which is not normal and indicates that:

- Something external has prevented it to be updated, like an antivirus.

OR

- Your file has gone read-only for some reason

OR

- The simulator was running when doing the Live Update


Try to restart Windows, check if the add-on.xml hasn't been mistakenly gone read-only for some reason, and try again. If still doesn't change, REMOVE the whole folder that contains it:

Documents\Prepard3d v4 Addons\fsdreamteam Addon Manager

And reinstall GSX using the full installer. You will know the add-on.xml is correct, if it contains the line which add the new PBR Simobjects. Yours doesn't.
