Yes, this has been discussed already on the forum, and has been confirmed it will come with a future update.
The issue is, it will require an user interface with a custom visual waypoint editor and, since we'll need it anyway for the upcoming pushback update to do custom pushback routes, we'll try to write it only once, and use it for both features.
