GSX Level 2 Questions
« on: November 02, 2018, 04:01:59 pm »
Hello FSDT- Team,

first of all I would like to thank you for GSX Level 2. It's a lot of fun to see people in the gate running in a HC on a Curved Screen. There is now a maximum of realism.

I have a question about the night though. Recently I made a night flight.
I noticed that there is no light in the Gats and you almost do not see the persons.
Could one bring "light into the dark" there?
Then I have a question about the crew.
If you do the boarding, the crew will appear first and then the paxe.
Can the crew be separated in the future or deleted? I also realized that the boarding sound can be heard much earlier than you see people.

Could one synchronize this better?

But otherwise I find GSX Level 2 very successful. Thanks again.

Best regards

About night, we could have added some lights that might lightened up the passengers (only in P3D4) but the issue is, the dynamic light system doesn't have an "occlusion" system so, if we did that, the light that is supposed to be contained in the jetway internal, would spill on the apron, since the jetway floor cannot act as an occluder. We could have a night texture, but then passengers will still be dark.

Yes, the ability to separate passenger and crew boarding has been asked many times, and we have already confirmed to be looking into it.

Hello Humberto,

many thanks for the quick answer and explanation.
I understand the problem with the light. Maybe there will even be a solution.

This with the crew and the passengers was probably past me.
Therefore, excuse the repetition.

Thank you again for your efforts.

Best regards
