The menu will show only the doors that can be resolved by SODE from your current position.
This might or might not be correct, depending how the scenery is made but also how which method you use to know where stop the airplane, such as the GSX marshaller/docking system, or another method provided by the scenery itself, or just your guess.
If you use any GSX assistance to park, it will respect the GSX "Stop Position", which you can customize. Have a look at the GSX manual at Page 39, the chapter named "Understanding the Stop Position", because there are many things to consider.
