I have a question about GSX : is it possible to unistall it wholly and properly? And what are the implications of such an uninstalling?Thank you very much for your help!
Like any other Windows program out there, you can Uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel and this is already a "proper" Uninstall.
However, like any other proper Windows program out there, it won't remove YOUR settings, like your airplane customizations or your airport customizations, and it would be very wrong if it did that.
Also, it won't remove *by default* the support software such as the Addon Manager and the Couatl scripting engine, because you might have other products requiring them. However, you will be asked if you want to remove them, with a warning saying that if you have other products requiring them (mostly from FSDT, Flightbeam, Qualitywings) , they will stop working as well.
So, the normal way of Uninstalling, is with the Control Panel, and if you want to remove the support software too, you will be asked to do that at the end of the uninstaller routine.
But if you want to do a totally "clean" Uninstall, because you suspect you might have made some kind of mistake with one of your customizations, you must also remove the following folders:
%APPDATA%\Virtuali
%PROGRAMDATA%\Virtuali\Couatl
