Your installers continually insist to add HIGHMEMFIX=1 to the prepar3d.cfg v2 or v3. Can this be removed from the installer? It's not required. Or at least check which sim it's installing for and exclude p3d?
The installers don't add the HIGHMEMFIX tweak to the prepar3d.cfg file. The only change that is made to it, is to enable 4K textures if they aren't already enabled. And, the GSX installer also ensure the SKINNED_ANIMATIONS parameter is enabled, otherwise neither jetways or humans will work. No other changes are made by the installers.
If you have seen the HIGHMEMFIX=1 being applied in conjunction of using an FSDT product, so you believe the installer has added it, it's because you opened the Addon Manager menu
AND clicked the "Save to Prepar3D" button.
NOTHING is changed to your .CFG file, unless you press the Save button. That's precisely what the Save button is supposed to do.
Now, in case of the HIGHMEMFIX setting, having it or not, regardless of the value, won't make a difference anyway, since there's nothing in the whole P3D code that reads that setting so, even if you had it to 1 (which is the default value assumed by the Addon Manager in *absence* of a setting)
and pressed the "Save to Prepar3D" button, its value won't have any effect on the sim.
