Coatl.exe closing when starting FSX

Starting a new topic on this per admin and was trying to see what i can do to fix it the error code is 0xc000007b

You are using an outdated version. Download and install the current GSX Full installer from the Products page of this site. No need to uninstall the old one.

i did and even installed it and it still does it im reinstalling FSX as we speak and going to reinstall GSX and see if a fresh install of FSX fixes it

Ok, sorry but I haven't looked at the dates of your Couatl.LOG file and, in fact, you didn't had any errors logged after July 26th so, it seems that Couatl.exe is not even starting, so it cannot log any errors.

This won't fix anything. I checked for the error code 0xc000007b, and it seems it's caused by a corrupted executable image. This might have been caused by the antivirus, that might have corrupted the file trying to "heal" it, because it mistakenly detected it as a threat.

- Download and install with the antivirus ENTIRELY DISABLED

- BEFORE launching FSX, configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXFolder\bglmanx.dll
YourFSXFolder\fsdreamteam\Couatl\Couatl.exe

- Now you can turn your Antivirus on, and launch FSX

- Note if FSX asks permission to run the Addon Manager and the Couatl programs, reply YES to both

- When FSX loads, check if you have BOTH the "Addon Manager" and the "Couatl powered products" under the "Addons" menu.

i did what u said and still getting the error not sure why

so it is starting to irritate me and i cant keep dealing with it so ill be uninstalling it and not using it again due to the couatl.exe refusing to start and nothing im being told to do is working

Check the FSX\fsdreamteam\couatl\Couatl.exe digital signature, by right-clicking on it, select Properties->Details->Digital Signature.

Click the button to verify the digital signature, and see if it's valid.
