No deicers visible
« on: December 14, 2014, 06:33:54 pm »
Yes I checked the manual first before posting here.
On the drop down menu for gsx services I don't see a listing for deicers.
Where do I find them? There is no entry for finding deicers in the manual--unless I missed it :(
I am running version 1.9 in prepard3d version 2.4
Please help.

Then you missed it...

Nowhere the manual says there's an entry for them.

Yes, you missed it. How to use deicers can be found in 3 different places:

1) The GSX manual, of course. Page 18, chapter named "De-Icing"

2) The Update release notes that can be checked when you are prompted for an update. The 1.9 update, under the "IMPROVEMENTS LIST", starts with a line explaining how you can find de-icers

3) The 1.9 installer, displays the same release notes on the first dialog when you start it, as soon as you press the first "Next" button, the text will says "GSX 1.9 deicers - Major update, please read!", the next line indicates how you can find them
