When using GSX within New Zealand the Menzies repaint always has priority over Air New Zealand type repaints. Ive gone in and edited the files and deleted menzies within the .cfg's but every time a new update comes out this gets reset. Would it be possible to have this fixed in a future please?
According to Menzies website, they do ground handling for many major airports in New Zealand: Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Queenstown and Dunedin, and we set it at priority 2 for all NZ codes, so, Menzies being there is correct.
Air New Zealand has been set with with priority 1 for all N codes (most of the South Pacific), because according to our sources, which is a professional publication we subscribe to that lists all ground operators around the world, the only two ground handlers in New Zealand are Air Menzies and Skycare, but Skycare does corporate jets only.
That's why Air New Zealand has been set to a lower priority in NZ, but of course you are free to change it and, if you don't want to be overwritten by Live Updates, just make an USER repaint for Air New Zealand using the PaintKit, and give it an higher priority ( 4 letter code ) for the airports you would like to be served by it.
