« on: June 23, 2014, 04:29:55 pm »
I have an AMD PHN II X 4 925 PROCESSOR 2.8 GHZ...am not getting the frame rates that I need to run the more advanced software that is being put out..What processor would anyone recommend..have been looking at the INTEL i5 3750k and the INTER I7 sandy bridge..I would appreciate any ones opinion on which way I should go on this..Thanks.  Maybe someone out here has a better idea.

A faster processor might help FSX load faster, but your graphics card has more influence on frames.  What are you running for a card?

And further more ..what I have learned is that FSX is more demanding on the Processor than the Ram or Video Card..check out software like the  PMDG B737NG and what they call for..for best performance
