Title: Sinking Jetway
Post by: IanHarr on July 21, 2013, 04:18:40 pm
I have just installed JFK2.1 and while it fixed my problem with disappearing buildings, the new Jetways' wheels (and the ladder on the side) disappear into the tarmac.

See the attached image taken at KLAX. This happens at any airport if the jetways are moveable - addon, FSX default, whatever and with any plane - PMDG MD-11, NGX, 744, CS 752 and so on.

That's a known FSX bug, we don't control jetways animation, FSX does, and it happens on default airports and default airplanes too, it's nothing we can fix from the scenery.

Flightbeam's KIAD jetways don't sink into the ground.

(So I think)..

Thanks for the reply.
It's really no big deal.
I can live with it, just never noticed it before. ;)

They surely do, because they are FSX jetways, and all FSX jetways have this bug. It depends on the airplane used and the relationship between the airplane and the jetway dimension, so you might noticed it or not, depending on the airplane, and it will not happen at all parking spots too.

Thanks for the information. The woman that did the weather probably did the jetways also.
