Title: Jetway Gate D36 Did Not Respond!
Post by: vivalasvegas on June 14, 2013, 05:00:08 am
Just completed a successful flight from KLAX to KLAS and selected GSX Gate D36 for Delta Airlines.  Follow me car worked great and I followed SAFEDOCK straight in.  I hit CTRL-J as usual and nothing happened!  I loaded another flight and selected D36 and the jetway responded this time!  Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Most likely the same thing that happened to me... please check your aircraft.cfg section [exits], if there are entries in FSX format not FS9...

example: (skyspirit 767) - might be commented or not syntax is percent per second, 3 coordinates, type (0=main, 1=cargo)

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.10, 73.7,-6.0, 7.5, 0
exit.1 = 0.2, -33.0, 5.85, -6.0, 1
exit.2 = 0.10, 6.0, 1.0, 3.0, 0
exit.3 = 0.09 , 6.0, 1.0, 3.0, 0

Older FS9 configs are different

Thanks for your help.  I think this may be a rare glitch because jetway problems for me are uncommon.  The aircraft I was using is specifically designed for FSX and has performed OK at this FSdreamteam airport and others.  After doing a search on this forum it doesn't look like this is a very common issue.  There may be nothing I can do to prevent this from happening periodically.

This has happened to me at a few airports.  What worked for me is to slew the aircraft a few feet back, and try again.  Do this until it works.  It usually doesn't take that much.
