Title: Egg on my face
Post by: Dicko on February 02, 2013, 06:26:09 am
The issue of the disappearing buildings and non responsive COUATL menu was indeed my system, in fact a duplicate AFCAD in my addon scenery folder. I have been vey vocal in my frustrations of trying to fix this and in the end it was MY SYSTEM and I have egg on my face .
My apologies to Umberto.

You really did give Umberto a hard time Dicko - Maybe a bit more apologising than above would have been in order?

However even though some of your comments were totally outrageous I can't help but respect your honesty in
admitting to being at fault.

Edit - I see you did pass on a huge apology in another thread  ;)

It happen to me before, after loading another plane....or after a crash... ::)

Thank you

I deleted the duplicate AFCAD in my addon scenery folder, Also go to your FSX CFG and delete the couatl and bglmanx entries in the trusted section. When you start FSX again it will ask if want to run and trust those files. Answer yes to both.

It takes courage to man up; and do it publicly.  A lot of us wouldn't do it.  Good for you...
