The most complete explanation of it, it's in the GSX manual. The internal editor provided with GSX should be fairly intuitive, it's not too different than Notepad in operation. What is, exactly, you haven't understood in the manual ?

Sometimes I just have a hard time with computer stuff. Im the kind of person that is better with something when i am shown how to do it. I'll look over it again.

Hi,
i have the CaptainSim 777 and I have a problem with the settings for the pax doors..
I do not understand why at door1 door and 3  the stairs are so far away.
See my picture.
I've already tried many settings and always the same result  ???
You have an idea ?
Thanks in advance.

My setting are:
[aircraft]
nosegear = 25.79711376
refueling = 1

[exit1]
pos = -3.0 25.05 4.75 6.0
code = 1
name = exit 1

[exit2]
pos = -3.0 14.6 4.8 0.0
code = 1
name = exit 1

[exit3]
remove = 1

[exit4]
pos = -2.0 -17.9 5.2 -7.0
code = 3
name = exit 4

The only sure problem is the Exit4, you specified 5.2 meters, but the actual staircase model can only reach an height of 5.049 meters (see the height parameter in the sim.cfg)

I don't see why the 1 and 2 exit would behave differently. Try to remove the name on both.

I removed the name but nothing changed.
It's all weird
I deleted everything, now it´s no stairs to door 2 but door 1 and 4 it works
At CS 777, only a small bus and only one container trailer. How can I change that.

Thanks !

We need to check this, because I can see that problem too.

Can some one please send me the default settigns for the A321 for FSX. I read the manual on how to change the settings for the doors and screwed it up big time!!!!!!!! >:(

First, you shouldn't have any need to change the default A321, because it's supported by default. If you have something you believe it's wrong, it would be better you said what you would like to be changed, so we can fix it in the internal database.

In any case, the manual comes with a fully commented GSX.CFG example, which is exactly the default A321

Ok, got it fixed. Thanks. But one more question. I was wanting to switch the doors so that the middle two on the left didnt open and the service doors opened with the main door. Is that possable? I tried all types of combos but couldnt get it too work.

You can't do that with GSX, that's how the model is made. GSX can only be instructed to read doors on a particular airplane and react (or not) to their status, not change their operation or the variables their animations are linked to, that's done in the airplane .MDL
