Title: Sound Adjustment for GSX
Post by: Iceman II on February 09, 2012, 02:42:56 pm
Hi FSDT,

I'm enjoying GSX and have it running well in Prepar3D, I was hoping for an update inclusion sometime if we could have a sound effect menu so as to remove or turn down the volume for external activity when sitting in the cockpit of an airliner. I mean the catering trolley sound is great when sitting in the cockpit but generally baggage belt motors and buses will not normally be heard.

thanks

We added a general volume setting but, to adjust individual sounds, the interface would become very cluttered soon, also because its the objects themselves that generates their own sounds and sub-classes of objects can generate their own sounds (es. a mechanical push truck makes a different sound then the hydraulically actuated model), so we would end up with adding a sound slider whenever a new object is added.

It's probably easier to adjust the individual waves.
