Title: What are the latest updates?
Post by: WebMaximus on December 24, 2011, 02:00:43 pm
Just bought the Geneva scenery and wonder what are the updates I should install to get the latest version?

Found the http://www.fsdreamteam.com/download/lsgg_fsx_update_setup.exe update but does that also include the http://www.fsdreamteam.com/download/lsgg_hotfixes/fsx/AP_LSGG.BGL update or should I download both and put the approach lights BGL in after the http://www.fsdreamteam.com/download/lsgg_fsx_update_setup.exe update?

The full installer always includes all the latest updates so, if you just downloaded it, you don't need anything else.

OK, thanks for your prompt reply. Just downloaded the product today so guess I'm fine then without having to worrying about any updates  :)

Where can I check what version I've got? Just finished the installation and can't find a program group under the Start Menu in Windows or maybe there shouldn't be one?

The installer version is displayed in 3 places:

- If you hover the mouse cursor on the installer setup.exe, a tooltip will display its version

- When you launch the installer, a version number is displayed on the first page before the installation starts.

- After you installed the scenery, going to the Windows Control Panel, on the "Add/Remove programs" section, the version number for each FSDT installed scenery is indicated.

Ok, thanks!

And where do I find the documentation since no program group is created under the Start menu?
