FS9 support => Zurich scenery for FS9 => Topic started by: Captain7 on December 22, 2011, 07:26:27 pm

Hi there,
I just purchased the Zurich Airport (FS9) and discovered a strange effect. When moving towards the main buildings you can see the LOT-model changing but unfortunately the windows switch to non-transparent when you pass a certain distance. See screenshot.
Is there any fix available?
System: i7 // ATI 5850 // 8GB Ram // Win7 64 Bit
Thanks Volker

That's not a bug, and it's obviously made intentionally to save fps, the building becomes 3d and transparent only when going closer.

Please See Screenshot. When I'm close it's not 3D and transparent.

Your screenshot shows it IS 3d, but not transparent, which is not normal, and doesn't happen here, and nobody every reported it in the 4 years Zurich has been released, so it must be something else, like a video driver problem or a settings problem.
In any case, we are releasing a large update ( with the new Terminal B ), very shortly, probably tomorrow, maybe this problem will go away.

Great, I'll stay tuned for the update ;-)

Cool - windows are transparent now! Updated the scenery to 2.5 and updated the ATI Driver from 11/11 to 11/12.
