Title: Flying With The Wind

Well, today's flight from Chicago O'Hare to New York JFK encountered some pretty strong tail winds. The end result was that this Boeing 757-200 got to its destination forty minutes early. The flight boarded at Chicago O'Hare's gate C20, bound for New York.

A short taxi out, and the aircraft was ready for its take-off roll down runway 9 right.

As the plane reaches 148 knots, the nose is pointed up towards the sky as seen from the tower.

Positive rate, gear up, and flaps being retracted, leaving a slightly cloudy Chicago behind.

Soon, the plane climbed to its cruise altitude of 39,000 feet.

Shortly after passing LENDY while flying the LENDY 5 arrival, the plane flies over the Hudson River.

On final for runway 31 right at JFK.

After a short taxi, the plane was parked at gate 8 of Terminal 7, concluding this flight in an hour and twenty minutes.
