I just bought the GSX Pro on Sunday or Monday, I don't remember exactly. Since that day, I haven't been able to use my simulator at all...
I've already tried the offline installer, I've tried disabling Windows Defender, adding the entire modules folder to the firewall exceptions, I've uninstalled and reinstalled GSX. The only way the simulator works is at a small airport with the analog Cessna 172. I want to use the FBW A320, it's impossible, the PMDG 738 is impossible, the PMDG777 is impossible.
First of all, the simulator takes 40 minutes to go from the menu to the flight, when the normal time is 5 minutes maximum. Once in the flight, it's completely frozen, there's no way to move anything. I can't even exit the simulator unless it's with the task manager ending the process.
A friend told me it could be because of Map Enhancement. Okay, I uninstalled Map Enhancement and nothing.
There's simply no way to make it work. I've searched the forum, Reddit, Avsim, and asked other friends, but nothing.
My PC's specs are:
AMD RYZEN 5 3600
16GB RAM 3300GHz
Nvidia GTX 1650
1TB M.2 hard drive

A friend is telling me that it might be because of the space on my hard drive. I have a 1TB M.2 SSD, but there's only 91GB left. I'm going to buy a new 2TB one and try to see what happens, but that won't be until my payday. I hope that's it.

Does no one really have an idea or even the intention to answer?
-
Nobody can reply to this, because nobody ever reported this before. 40 minutes to start is unheard of, and surely GSX won't freeze anything. The manual has some suggestions how to improve the loading time but, normally GSX adds 2-3 minutes at most, surely not 40.
-
Well, without installing GSX Pro, the loading time of my simulator is 15 minutes from when I open the simulator until I am in the plane ready to fly, with GSX Pro installed it is 40 minutes, the only difference is GSX, so it is GSX that causes it, apart from the total loss of FPS.
But not even the intention to find out what's going on? The fact that it only happens to one person makes that purchase less important than the others and therefore not worthy of a response?

There is your answer already 15 minutes is way to long for the sim to load.
In my instance msfs2020 it took 8 to 9 minutes to load, msfs2024 it took around 4 to 5 minutes to load.
It could be a number of factors number one would be your isp connection, how many add ons you have installed in your community folder, this is manly directed at msfs2020. Could be your disk space you have left

That's explains it! MSFS 2020 should not take that long to start to begin with so, if your system is abnormally slow already, the normal impact of GSX, which is about 3 minutes more, will be multiplied by your unusual situation.
- Do you have an extremely big Community folder with hundreds of add-ons ?
- Have you installed the Community folder on a slower drive, like an external USB drive or a mechanical drive ?
As I've said, the manual has some suggestions how to improve the loading times in the chapter named MSFS takes longer to start with GSX installed at Page 97, so you might first try that one, since disabling Airport Services will have a marginal effect GSX (explained there, of course).
But you first need to fix your system. For example, adding the whole Community folder to the Antivirus EXCLUSIONS (and of course the whole "Addon manager" folder where GSX is installed) should also help with loading times.

Well, that's a different answer than what I received before, thanks for that.
In my community folder, I have 197 files including aircraft, airplane, and airport textures (132GB). My hard drive is a WD Blue SN580 NVMe, 1TB, M.2, 4150 MB/s Write, 4150 MB/s Read, with 90.7GB free.
Now, as I said in the first post, the issue is with aircraft from different developers like PMDG. If I install GSX and use the Cessna 172, it works but with errors. However, when I try to use the PMDG 737, or the 777F, or the FBW A320, etc., everything definitely freezes.

simple test to test your system rename your community folder to say community.,bak than start your sim it will make a empty community folder and see how long the sim takes to load if its the same as before than you know there is something on your pc thats causing it. If its quicker than you can add one addon from your renamed comm folder into the new one you can either add 1 to 3 at a time depending on how many addons you have. it a long process but you might find the addon that causing your gsx issue.
Just to add what was the last addon you installed when you noticed your issues, since most likely it will be that addon

So it's clear is not GSX.
My suggestions would have improved ONLY the first part of the loading process, that one *before* the Main Menu arrives. If your sim is so slow, but only after you go from the Main Menu to the normal flight, you can be *sure* it's not GSX, because GSX is not adding or doing anything during this phase. It's just waiting for the sim to load, and it won't affect in any way the chance to load correctly.
During that step, what is really happening is the sim might recompile the WASM files for 3rd party airplanes that has been updated, and this can be very slow, up to 15 minutes with a "normal" system that usually performs that steps in 1 minute, but since your system is clearly having issues (even 15 minutes with a fast SSD is NOT normal), maybe the real issue is that, for some reason, the sim wrongly assumes the airplane has been update and tries to do the full slow WASM recompile each time, maybe because it failed, so it tries again and again.
You can try removing this folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState (if you have the MS Store version)
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages (if you have the Steam version)
This will clear all WASM cache for all packages. First startup with any 3rd party airplane WILL be MUCH slower, but it should happen only the first time.
