Hello everyone, something really strange is happening to me with GSX Pro Passengers and I don't know if you can help me, I will explain my problem in detail:
I have the Fenix A320 with a multitude of high quality liveries downloaded from Flightsim.to and since I have installed GSX Pro all my liveries for this model (with and without sharklets) only the internal structure of the model is visible, hiding everything else. (attached pictures)
I have written to Fenix support but after several emails they believe that the problem comes from GSX Pro and the seated passengers option, obviously I have disabled this but the problem persists, I have read that GSX modifies the liveries when this option is activated, I do not know how to reverse this and I can use my liveries, the truth is ruining my experience with the simulator generating me a real headache and a lot of frustration, please can you help me? thank you very much.

This is a known problem. Easily corrected but you will need to make a few manual edits. Check out this forum post for more info.

I see... it is quite complicated for me, and I have to do it in all liveries? the post it talks about PMDG 777 model but not the fenix a320, what should I do? can someone explain to me what I have to change, and where? now i can't fly the A320 from fenix!
Will it be fixed by the developer in the next update? I'm a little overwhelmed with this :'( please help

EDITED - Post below say instruction posted not needed.
-
There's no need to post such complex instructions. If you are using the latest 3.2.6 installer, everything should work. If you still find a livery that doesn't, please post a download link to it, and we'll check it.

Yes i’m using last update 3.2.6 and no, it’s no working well, but it’s not only one or two livereries, it’s about all my liveries, everything of iberia and vueling airlines from flightsim.to, for all variants for a320. if you explain in detail what I should do and where I should do it I can do it in each of the liveries
Thank you

I already explained in detail the only thing you should do:
If you still find a livery that doesn't, please post a download link to it, and we'll check it.
This way, I can DOWNLOAD the livery, and verify if and why it doesn't work.
And please, don't post the same question in two different places at once, which will force me to reply on both threads. Decide which thread you want to follow (maybe this one, since the other was about the PMDG 777) and continue only there.

ok thanks, this is the link to my liveries collection, but my question is, also the default liveries of fenix are corrupted, please if the fix is simple like changing a line of code in the model.cfg tell me how because I have many libs installed and it can be tedious for you to do that one by one, another question is, will this happen every time I install new liveries? thanks

Pd: I have deleted the other post from the thread about the same problem with pmdg 777, sorry if this has caused you any discomfort.

They aren't here.

there's no need of any fix, the installer correctly patches all files required. Be sure you have the current version of the installer, which you should always have, until either the antivirus or a firewall or a network problem might prevent the installer to update itself when it starts. Alternatively, use the Offline installer, which would at least prevent network/firewall problems.
You pointed me out to a list of liveries that didn't work ( I asked for a specific one ), so I tried the first on the list ( Vueling EC-JSY ), and it's not made for the Fenix B2 (the download link has an alert for this). In fact, I can't even see it in the sim, because the package requires the old "fnx-320" package that doesn't exists anymore in a B2 fresh install.
-
Now I tried the 2nd livery of that list, the Iberia LC-LRG (which is correct for Fenix B2), and it worked normally, see the screenshot.
-
it doesn't work for me, since I activated the passenger checkbox it has broken all the libraries as I said, and I can't revert it, why would I lie to you? please, what is the solution? I have been unable to fly for two days, can you tell me what to do and I'll do it myself?

Your firewall or antivirus might have blocked the installer from being able to update itself when it starts. Be sure you turn off any firewall and you have the whole Addon Manager folder added to the Antivirus EXCLUSIONS, then start the installer again.
Also, try the Offline installer, which at least might not be affected by firewall issues or network issues.
-
ok thanks, i will try, where can i download the offline version of the installer?

The Sticky thread on this forum.

i get it, I'll try what you say and write again, thanks again Umberto

ok, my liveries are now fixed and working, but now the passengers were pink and checkered, reading the manual page 10 and following its instructions I opened again the fsdt installer, I have gone to configuration to get the new liveries but even though I have disabled antivirus and firewall and adding it to exceptions in my antivirus I get this popup " the specified file could not be encrypted" (see attached image) many times for each of the liveries, and broke all my fenix liveries again... im lost again, can you help me?
-
Hi again Umberto, these liveries despite being updated to work with the Fenix block 2 update, are still corrupted and I can't get them to work without the external model disappearing, please could you check them for me? and if you find a solution could you tell me what to do? thanks a lot.

Hi, Is this normal? Can it be fixed?
Regards.

Hi, Is this normal? Can it be fixed?
Yes, it's normal, and there's nothing to fix. We must add dynamic lights, because cabin lights won't lit attached objects, causing passengers to be pitch black. But since MSFS doesn't support light occlusion, there's some minor spillage.

This issue with model is still present with my block 2 320 liveries. I had this issue with all Air Canada and Delta liveries listed below. To rectify I had to reinstall the Fenix aircraft (even disabling visiible pax in GSX was not fixing the problem).

My GSX is the most up to date according to version.

Same issue with me unfortunately, after updating to the latest version,3.2.7,no visable passengers on the whole Fenix range, tried to reinstall but the issue remains, all was fine prior to the update.
-
did you untick and rechecked the pax options in gsx settings in config
-
Yeah unticked and reticked the boxes numerous times in the GSX config still no visable passengers.

I tried one of the liveries you linked (C-GKOE), and it works normally, see the attached screenshots.

That's fantastic, I'm glad it works. Any reason why it would work for you and not on for me? Everything is up to date (Fenix/GSX/etc). I wonder if it can be one specific livery that can break them all if GSX attempts to add the visibile pax if that one livery is installed.

One way to find out is the delete all your liveries and than see if it works, than re install one livery in to see which one it is thats causing the issue
-
Thanks, I think I found the issue. Liveries with the CRT mod seem to break everything lol

That's why I always ask for a precise indication of the livery. If it's default, just say which one. If it's 3rd party, provide a download link.
