Title: '_gsxCfgPath' is not defined error
Post by: charlienash18 on October 28, 2024, 09:45:37 pm
Hi all,

I've installed GSX Pro through the live updater & tried the offline installer also and I'm still having this issue.

Whenever I try to save changes in the Aircraft Editor, the 'Save' button is not doing anything, and I am getting an error in my logs that look like this

emulateMenu_MSFS
emulateMenu_MSFS CHOICE 11
Traceback (most recent call last):
File ".\GSX\aircraftDialog.py", line 845, in onOk
File ".\common\aircraftData.py", line 2547, in writeAircraftData
NameError: global name '_gsxCfgPath' is not defined

Can someone help me? My GSX Pro version is the latest version (26th October Release)

I have tried reinstalling multiple times, turned off firewall, turned off antivirus, ran live updater multiple times as well

Thank you!

I would also like to add I have now tried a completely fresh install of Windows 11 and I have installed Drivers, MSFS and GSX Pro, and this is still happening

Fixed by running the latest update.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

So I've ran the updater a few times now and the issue is still happening, is there anything else I could try?
