On my flight today, I noticed that I had the option to connect the pushback truck prior to door close. As a former ramp agent, this is an option I've wanted for a long time. At my airline, we always connected the towbar and pushback truck ASAP. Most of the time, when a turning aircraft arrived, we'd set the chocks and insert the bypass pin right away, then we'd get the truck connected to ensure a more rapid departure.
Thanks again for adding this feature to GSX.

Yes, this was the most requested feature, so we are going down the list, and we'll try to add them all.

Dave, here's a question for you. I'm noticing that in GSX, when you connect the pushback during boarding, the ground crew would make the ready for pushback call and bypass pin inserted call just before the pushback truck gets connected. Is that something that would typically happen at that time or would that happen when they call for push. I was about to recommend having the calls moved to when the pushback gets called, but I don't know how realistic that is.
