Title: update to v 3.0.5 does not complete
Post by: b3lt3r on June 13, 2024, 04:14:10 pm
I've tried multiple times upgrading from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 on my Steam instance. There is no obvious error but after completion it shows 3.04 as installed and prompts me to update.

Live updater gets half way through updating then just crashes or closes. Same with FSDT Installer.

It's caused by network issues.

If you suspect networks problems (Yes, Cloudlare itself was affected, not just Microsoft), you should try the OFFLINE INSTALLER. Even if the readme on the forum might not be the very latest version, the actual .EXE is always updated to the latest update:
