Title: Tug Push then Pull aircraft into position.
Post by: Dazza74 on March 24, 2024, 11:13:01 am
Is it possible in GSX Editor to place nodes that first instruct the aircraft to be pushed back to a certain point, then more nodes added to have the aircraft pulled to a certain point? Imagine a number 7 type repositioning. The long leg is the push phase and the short leg is the pull phase followed by brakes and the tug is disconnected. If so, how do I go about doing this?

Regards Darren.

Darren, this was a feature that was added in at the end of December. You would enter the nodes in the same way you always have been with the only difference being the line is going to be two different colors. The green line indicates the path in which the plane gets pushed, the red line indicates the path in which the plane gets pulled. If you have a quick look at this video, you'll see what I'm talking about.
